Well, I am sure everyone is up on the issue of the Mosque in N.Y.! I have to appreciate what someone said today in the news, they were speaking as a Muslim....'well at least in America there is debate'...one woot for our corner.

Although I was very young during the second World War....I remember all of the flack and hoopla about the Nazi's. After watching all of the bodies piled up on the newsreels and hating it going on and on. (remember during those days there was not a lot for kids to watch or get involved in). Some pretty scary things were loaded into our minds. Like any good computer it has all been stored and brought to the foreground as I grew. So now, I am seeing a likeness of the fear that Hitler and his regime brought to the table. Likewise, what the muslim faith of Islam and its contentious religionist bring,..... strikes fear in Americans.

We cannot understand those who hate our lifestyle. Reasoning that if it is such a big deal why can't they stay home and do their own thing? What is their problem? Why seek the world? Especially if you don't like them. How will you manage their physical world? Will you turn it into a desert like your own country? There are so many questions. It seems that your world is so archaic and backward it is hard to understand why you want to remain part of a dying system.

I laugh in comparison, because I feel that part of the reason for the Berlin wall coming down was partially due to Levi's and Nike's....and the desire of the youth to be apart of the smuggled world they saw, that world of freedom of choice. The choice to dress the way they liked, play the way they liked and educate themselves.(When I see a woman dressed ethnically, I see her eyes look into mine, and wonder exactly how she feels, I see those eyes with fear, longing and frustration ) To prosper, to own things, and not have to answer to another man as to why they are doing the things they are doing.....to love to live and to give thanks for all they can do Islam doesn't stack up to that. Sad.

Enough said....next time we will talk about the Women...that is where the will to change a country will come from. Brutal men are weak, and weak minded.
